COVID-19 Policies and Procedures
It’s hard to believe we’ve been living with COVID-19 for over two years.
We put a lot of effort into reopening our facility, following all of the CDC and Connecticut Department of Health guidelines. Fortunately, we are a fairly small Bed and Breakfast, and were able to avoid many of the challenges of larger hotels. Since the acute phase of the pandemic is mostly past us, we’ve simplified our preparations and our current policies are as a follows:
- We ask that non-vaccinated guests wear a mask when they are in the indoor public areas of the Inn. We also ask that you wear a mask if you have recently had a significant exposure to somebody who is COVID-positive to help keep everyone safe.
- If you are not feeling well, please try to reschedule your travel plans and visit us another time. If you are at the inn and not feeling well, please wear a mask when you are in the public areas and wash your hands often!
- We try to stagger breakfast times if possible. Anh will coordinate with your fellow guests to minimize overlap when the inn has more than one set of guests.
- We clean and sanitize rooms throughly between guests, but we no longer include a 24-hour passive decontamination of each room after a guest leaves.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns about your safety and how we can make you feel comfortable. With everyone’s cooperation, we can all stay healthy and free of the virus.
